We are now acting to appoint a Financial Risk Officer to our Stockholm headquarters.
As our Financial Risk Officer you will have the overall responsibility for independent analysis and reporting of credit risk, market risk and liquidity risk. You are expected to take part in general Risk Control responsibilities in a broad sense but your specific areas of responsibility will include:
In the role of Financial Risk Officer you will work closely with Credit Risk & Analytics and Treasury in providing on-going support and control. You will have an active role in various decision forums and in Board Committees. In conjunction with Compliance, you will keep the functions updated on new and amended regulatory requirement.
You will report to the Chief Risk Officer.
We are looking for someone with an MBA in Economics or a Master of Science in Engineering or its equivalent. You should have at least five years of relevant experience from a similar role in the financial sector, preferably from bank or asset management.
As you are expected to assume the overall responsibility of a broad range of financial risks, you should have experience and a genuine interest in the financial markets, instruments and risk management methods. Experience within credit risk analysis is qualifying. Microsoft office skills especially Excel skills are crucial for the position and good knowledge of SAS and SQL is important.
You should be structured with strong analytical skills as well as ambitious in your capacity for initiative. We value integrity and ownership of one’s work. As you will be working in an intimate environment with a small number of high performing professionals it is necessary to be without prestige and to assume ownership of your work.
Fluency in Swedish and English is required.
